Texas Saltwater Bowfishing Guide

Bowfishing the Texas Coastline

saltwater bowfishing trips

2 big rays.

You want something different and fun? Let’s go bowfishing in the saltwater bays of Texas. It’s lot’s of fun and lot’s of action. My Saltwater Bowfishing trips are an experience like no other, there is nothing you can do that will be as much fun.The fish are tasty and can often be BIG. Instead of using a GIG or a rod like on my rod & reel fishing trips, using a bow is much more fun and challenging not to mention an adrenaline rush. Best of all, bowfishing is not seasonal… I BOWFISH YEAR AROUND! No matter when you are visiting Texas we can meet up and let you try your skills at bowfishing in the various bays of the Texas coastline.

I go after Flounder, Mullet, Sheepshead, Skate, all types of Rays often getting into groups of cow-nose rays. These rays are strong and put up a good fight not to mention often seeing 100+lb gator gar which you would not want to tackle with the lighter bow setup on this particular trip type. We can bowfish along the Texas coastline for all legal species learn more about Texas saltwater bag & length Limits. If you are interested in bowfishing for Alligator Gar or hooking an Alligator Gar with a rod & reel, we can do that also as I offer those trip types as well.

Bowfishing is Great for Groups

Forget boring tours! Let’s go bowfishing! Anyone can do it. Bowfishing is a great activity for families, friends, business associates, etc. Even if you don’t have someone to go with, give me a call & we will go get you some great shots. Non-shooters are also welcome. My boat fits 8 shooters comfortably.

Where to Bowfish

I travel all over Texas and there are many incredible spots along the coastline we can go to. If you have a location in mind I can definitely take you bowfishing there. My number 1 goal on every bowfishing trip I guide is to PUT YOU ON THE FISH and get you the BIG ONES.
