s2. What should I bring?
Fishing license, which can be picked up from just about anywhere and cost $17.00 the first day and only $8.00 for each additional day for out of state residents. Sun screen and snacks are a good idea.
3. Should I bring my own bow and what type of reel?
I have all the gear you need even LEFT HANDED bows. If you like, you can bring your own bows and arrows. As far as reels go, I recommend the retriever reel with or without floats. Me personally, I tie off to the rear of the bottle and hang on.
4. How many SHOOTERS can your boat hold?
The boat can hold up to 8 shooters plus myself. There is a large front deck and a rear deck. The boat is 20 feet long and 8 feet wide.
5. Can we bring beer?
Yes. As long as everyone is 21 and up.
6. Where will we be fishing?
I fish all over the state from the Louisiana border to the Mexico border and anywhere else in between. The weather changes so do the fish so when conditions get bad I move to a better location to help improve your chances of getting what you came for.
7. Where will we stay?
We usually stay at a motel near the water body we will be fishing. I usually sleep on the floor in my sleeping bag or on a Cot that I carry with me if there is no spare bed (no problem). Rooms usually cost about $40.00 to $65.00 a night.
8. How many days do you recommend?
Most of my out of state and out of country customers book 2 to 5 day trips and then book again the following year. My in state customers book 1 to 2 day trips and then book again for later in the year.
9. If you have any more questions and are ready to book your trip, give me a call at 512-431-9037. I look forward to setting up your trip.
